Physical properties: usually white or yellowish equiaxed crystals. It has a strong oxidation effect in acidic solution and decomposes oxygen above 300°C. Sodium chlorate is unstable. It is easy to burn and explode when mixed with phosphorus, sulfur and organic matter, and it is easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate, and is poisonous.

Precautions for storage and transportation: Sodium chlorate is an inorganic oxidizing agent, white to light yellow crystal or powder, it decomposes to release oxygen when heated, and is active in nature.

When encountering more substances, there is a possibility of explosion:
